Questions people ask

Does an upload count as an expense immediately?

No. It waits in Pending until you approve it. Only approved expenses are on the overview.

Can I fix an invoice after I issued it?

No. Issue a credit invoice against it. Drafts can still be edited.

Why did issuing stop and ask about the Tax Authority?

The document is at or above the allocation threshold and the business has no active authorization. An administrator connects it under Taxes → ITA. Under the threshold, issuing does not need an allocation number.

Why can I not read a photo of an invoice?

Image scans need an AI key: the server's, or yours under Settings. A PDF that already contains text can still be read without one.

Can my accountant log in without my password?

Yes. Settings → Team. Give them their own invitation and leave off Manage settings if they should not change the account.

Where is the API documented?

On the developer docs, not in a second copy of this guide.

Is the VAT number on the dashboard what I file?

No. It is an estimate from the records in the account. Your accountant files the return.

I self-host. Why is issuing paused?

Legal Israeli tax documents stay paused until the business running that server has its own Tax Authority software registration. Drafts and expenses still work.
