Income and Profit pages
5 min read
The two analytics pages dedicated to revenue and net profit — what each chart shows, the filters they share with the Dashboard, and how the VAT toggle changes the math.
Where to find them
Both pages live in the top nav, immediately after Dashboard. They share the filter system used elsewhere — vendor select, time range, year + months, custom date range, and the include-VAT toggle.
Income page
Open Income from the top nav (TrendingUp icon, title "Income"). The page focuses on invoices marked as income — i.e. invoices linked to vendors with the income-source toggle on, plus invoices you've issued in Creator mode if you import them back. What you'll see: • Filter panel identical to the Dashboard. • Total revenue, monthly average, and top-client KPIs. • Monthly revenue trend line chart. • Income source pie chart — the share of revenue per client/vendor. • Invoices table at the bottom, filtered to type = income.
Profit page
Open Profit from the top nav (Scale icon, title "Profit"). This page subtracts expenses from revenue to surface net profitability over time. What you'll see: • Filter panel — time range, year + months, custom date range. (No vendor filter: profit is an aggregate metric.) • Three KPI cards — Total Revenue, Total Expenses, Net Profit. • Revenue vs. expense comparison chart — both series on the same axis so you can spot months where expenses outpaced income. • Monthly net-profit trend line. • Year-over-year comparison block — appears only when you have at least two years of data.
Include VAT toggle
The toggle is shared across Dashboard, Income, and Profit. With "Include VAT" on, every figure is the gross amount (what was actually paid). Off, every figure is net of VAT — useful for management accounting where you treat VAT as a flow-through.
Drill into the invoice list
Most chart elements are clickable. Click a bar, a line marker, or a pie slice to open the Invoices list pre-filtered to the corresponding vendor or month. From there, you can open individual invoice detail pages to inspect the underlying documents.
